Oof this kid shines bright. She opened my heart in ways I didn’t know possible when she was born, now 18 years later she graduated high school as one of the salutatorians and then said goodnight to 17 and good morning to 18 today. So many feelings, so many tears. It’s what we work toward but it’s also just so tragic right? How dare they get older and leave us. So rude. I love you @_maggie_mae._ we’re so excited for you and this next chapter and we’re also more than a little sad you won’t be at home with us dirty dishes and all. How lucky I am to be your mom, kiddo. Yesterday was 20 years married, 30 or so since our first date. Not much I haven’t been through with this guy by my side and still feel very lucky for that. He makes me laugh every day and is still very very cute. I don’t love all this getting older nonsense but I do love doing it with my favorite person. Happy anniversary honey, you are a digital ghost and will never see this. Also gah I was looking at so many pics and now I’m back to the age old question of should I get bangs again?
