Today, I had the opportunity to visit five S:US facilities, including a day program, a developmental disabilities residence, a men’s shelter, the Clubhouse/Clinic, and Alafia- their newest and largest supportive and affordable housing development. It was an incredibly inspiring day, and I’m truly honored to be part of, and get involved in, this meaningful work. @sus_org 🤍

What an amazing evening last Friday was with the East Coast @selfhelpafrica family at our annual Change-Makers Gala in NYC. Attending last year’s Gala as a guest had such a profound impact on me. I just loved what I saw and heard. Self Help Africa is all about empowerment - supporting women and adopting approaches that help vulnerable communities lift themselves out of poverty and towards a brighter future. I’m now a proud ambassador for Self Help Africa and was fortunate enough to see the impact of our incredible work in The Gambia earlier this year. So it was an honor to be MC for this year’s Gala and play a part in making this event our most successful yet! I know that the money raised will truly make a life-changing difference to so many people that Self Help Africa works with. All thanks to our incredible community that I am so proud to be part of ????
