This is how I felt after the performance...I can’t stop crying today after my incredible show last night! I’m so proud of myself!!!! It was damn near the best show I’ve ever had in my life. I connected with every single heart and soul there. It felt effortless and purely purposeful in every way. I let go up there and surrendered to my calling and I simply could not stop smiling! Everything I said and sang was seamless ! I can’t wait to do it all over again! Now I am flyin like I was born to fly.

Thank you @walmart for an incredible day of chattin’, singin’, laughin’, celebratin’ and for allowing me the space to dream even bigger! I appreciate the opportunity to work alongside each and every one of you and I am grateful to feel the happiness of havin’ a life I’m just so darn excited to live. Y’all’s support and the way you celebrate your employees makes it clear to me that operating on levels of expansion and inspired collaborative expression is where abundance is met. To be able to have my first born, my daughter, Maxwell, be there to share in this moment of what her Gigi and Mama do was beautiful. What a blessing it was to have her by my side for the first time to witness me speak, meet, greet, and SING!!! My heart is so very FULL 🤍💙

ASR: There were just so many men.JS: In suits.ASR: Telling you what you’re supposed to be or who you’re supposed to be when having this conversation across town. JS: I had to be a pop star because I signed on to be a pop star. No matter what, there was never going to be enough sales, there was never going to be recouping, because they would put so much into me trying to win. You’re a by-product of this company that’s making them money. I didn’t realize that until I was dropped in 2008 or ’09 by my country-music label with my first No. 1 country album. My country record was written in Nashville, and that’s where I felt very much myself. All of a sudden, there were these 360 deals and I wouldn’t sign. That was the first time I stood up for myself. But I was always defined by having a record deal. I had a record deal since I was 14 years old, so to be at the age of 28, 29 not having a record deal, I didn’t know where I was or what I was or who I was, and I didn’t know who I was working for. Your light is the brightest of all-assembled by the multitudes of your individual blessings that create iridescent and unique sparks! Not only does your glow make you shine, but there is an honesty within your heart that gives truth to divine ambition and a courageous certainty that represents how passion can lead to unparalleled greatness. As your first born, I can say exactly what I need to say, be entirely who I am, love selflessly without fear or expectation and always find ways to think outside of the box to solve any problem at any given time because you are my guide and have shown me the beauty in the how. Many of these things cannot be taught with words- only through leadership and action. I’m led by your example and grace each and every single given day. You make it all happen even if you don’t know how, you learn to find the way. Your inventiveness and all things creative inspire everyone to not just dream, but also to follow through and to do so with an exciting confidence. Your determination pushes you to make all things possible, no matter how intense the voyage of discovery gets. There is no stopping YOU when you believe in something with all of your heart. I am so lucky to be something and someone you believe in.
