My hometown ???? where we grew up and lived, now gone. My heart breaks for our town for all the families that have lost everything and for those who don’t know what’s next. Shock is really the only word I can find when I think of what’s happened this past week. While I sit in waves of sadness for all that’s been lost I see images like these of the heroic men and women fighting to put out this fire and I cry grateful tears. We are so blessed to have them put their lives on the line and fight this fire. It’s hard to find the words to capture what our community has endured over the past week. To all the first responders- I’m left speechless by your courage and bravery. thank you for being the light in the darkest of times. ????The devastation of the palisades is vast—but the spirit of the Palisades runs deep and we will rebuild together.
