Despite a broken foot, yesterday was one of the best days of my life 🫶🏼- Thankyou to everyone that allowed yesterday to happen and congratulations to all the winners.It was tricky conditions but an honour to be part of my first @wsl NAZARÉ TOW CHALLENGE. Thankyou to all the safety team, medics and organisers for making sure I got all the help I needed and my brother for not leaving my side 🙏🏻Thankyou to @tonylaureano_ for being a legend of a partner and putting my body first after feeling my foot go, but I was too determined to drive him on at least one scoring wave before the adrenaline wore off and pain was too much. 😅Thankyou for all your lovely messages I’m feeling a very bitter sweet end to my big wave season this year. I’ll be back ;)

Birthday gifts , sunny days and fun waves ???? ???? ????

So 3 weeks ago my Younger brother caught me saying how terrible I am at drawing / all art for that matter and stopped me and said Laura that’s not true I always remember you being really good when we were growing up …This then lead to him asking me to draw something on his new board, at first I met it with resistance I was fearful of failure and I put myself back in to year 5 art class. But I read something about everyone having different ‘Truths’ and decided to believe my brothers truth about my creativity rather than the believes I had . And well here is what we got … a smile on my Brothers face and I ended up being quite proud of what I made. ????
