In the last 48 hours I have eaten more lobster than I ever have in my entire life 🦞I also pointed and gasped every time I recognized a place they filmed the Gilded Age, regretted styling my hair only for humidity to have other plans, quoted cat n’ the hat one too many times, and walked in boots very much made for walking. Celebrated 8 years with Cooper this month, by taking him on a surprise trip. Managed to keep it all a secret until we arrived at our airport gate. I don’t think he ever would’ve guessed Rhode Island, but we loved every minute of it.

Brought back good memories, vintage finds, and a massive bruise after slipping and falling down the stairs 🙃(the soccer arena steps were slick with beer)🚎 Love me some public transport☕️ Our trip was filled with food, coffee, bookstores, vintage shops, and museums 🌟 I swear we only heard city pop and 80s music everywhere we went (and some Dutch songs that were giving major tejano vibes with the bass and accordion)🍴Besides some traditional Dutch dishes (like bitterballen), tried Indonesian food for the first time and it was soooo good. Also, had a Heineken for the first ever? Even though they are everywhere🍋 I forgot how much I love bottled sparkling iced tea🏠 Haarlem might be one of my favorite places
