First, thank you so much for all the messages of love and concern, I apologize to those of you I haven’t responded to properly — my family and I are safe and our home is unharmed and out of danger. ⁣⁣We’ve been focusing on helping our friends and community handle the aftermath of this terrifying event. I will be posting Gofundme pages for at least two friends, far removed from the Hollywood world, just two lovely, kind, creative souls who lost everything in the Eaton and Palisades fires, respectively. Allyce and Cottrell. ⁣⁣My family and I are of course supporting financially with what we can, but the fires destroyed truly everything but the clothes on their backs. Both Allyce and Cottrell are musicians, and all of their instruments are gone. Documents. Clothes. Pet supplies. Mementoes of a lifetime. ⁣I’ve known both of these people for over a decade. I’m not sure they know each other, but both Allyce and Cottrell are the kindest, most gentle, calm and warm human beings. Truly invested in people and community, art and culture, heart and soul. ⁣⁣I have reservations asking for anyone to help, in a world where so much devastation is happening. In a Country with much uncertainty, and financial instability. But if you can spare, even a dollar, anything will help to get my friends, people of this planet, good kind humans, back on their feet to continue to spread the love and support they’ve given back to this world, despite already overcoming countless challenges — I’m not sure what’s appropriate to share about their personal lives, so I’ll leave it at that. But shit you guys, this is a real disaster and while many affected are in a privileged position and able to rebuild their homes, lives and legacy, so many others are not. ⁣⁣Certainly not to diminish the experience of my friends in the industry who’ve lost their homes and belongings in these fires. This tragedy has been devastating and terrifying for everyone. Everyone lost everything! ⁣But this is a financial ask of aid for two people standing alone and with nothing. ⁣⁣If you are able, I thank you so truly and kindly for your help.
